Radebeul — Schloss Wackerbarth
Europe’s first experience winery
Between vineyards and Baroque elegance lies Schloss Wackerbarth in Radebeul – Europe’s first experience winery and, at the same time, the Saxon State Winery. Here pleasure, architecture and nature combine into an outing that appeals to all the senses.
“The view sweeps over the vines to the Elbe”
The production
In the glass-walled manufactory you’ll see how wine and – following traditional bottle fermentation – fine sparkling wine are made from the grapes of the surrounding vineyards. From pressing and maturing to riddling and disgorging, the art of sparkling-wine making comes vividly to life.
