Saddle up and discover the Elbe Valley

Is there a finer way to start the day than with a tailwind and a view of the Elbe? Here you set off without detours: the famous Elbe Cycle Route passes directly by our hotel door — flat, well surfaced and traffic-free, through one of Germany’s most beautiful river landscapes.

We have put together three favourite routes for you — each a day trip in its own right, with rewarding stops along the way. A leisurely ride along the Elbe to Pillnitz, out to the thousand-year-old porcelain town of Meißen, or through the vineyards to the fairy-tale palace of Moritzburg. Simply pick whichever appeals to you today.

Bikes, maps and a packed lunch come courtesy of the hotel — there is nothing for you to arrange, so you can simply look forward to the ride.
